Event Description
Each spring, folks from the congregation of First Presbyterian Church in Elizabethton participate in Carter County Streams Clean-up. Our church has agreed to adopt a portion of Dennis Cove as our clean-up area. We’ll meet at the covered bridge park on Saturday, April 30th at 9:00 a.m. where litter bags and gloves are distributed. Then we head to a beautiful mountain stream where we enjoy looking at wild flowers and listening to singing warblers as we collect litter along the stream bank.
Another team will deploy from Covered Bridge Park to conduct a cleanup of Buffalo Creek near Milligan College.
