The Green Interfaith Network

One of GINI's core values is to increase inter-faith communication and understanding, and we strive to expand our network to include any and all faith communities that share a spiritual connection to the Earth.  Contact us if your community is interested in more information about GINI.

GINI has benefited from the participation of several faith and non-profit communities in the northeast Tennessee area, including:

Visit our page on Success Stories to see how these communities are committing to stewardship, Earthcare, and eco-justice.

Campus Ministries

We share goals and ideals with Campus Ministries in our region and seek to engage both faculty and students of our local educational institutions as our plans progress.

United Religions Initiative

Members of the Board of Directors of GINI have been active participants in activities planned by and for the United Religions Initiative (URI).

GINI members have participated in the URI's annual Interfaith Gratitude Dinner, and marched in area parades with our URI member friends. The annual Martin Luther King Day Parade in Kingsport and the Umoja Festival Parade are becoming traditions for our groups to share in important fellowship.
