Event Description
On Saturday, April 23, the Peacemaking Committee of First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will sponsor a hike and meditation. We’ll spend the day celebrating Earth, looking for wildflowers, birds, butterflies and whatever else crosses our path. Our hike winds about 3.7 miles from Hampton to Dennis Cove following the Appalachian Trail much of the way, passing Laurel Falls and Laurel Fork Gorge. Then we
will culminate our experience with an Earth Day meditation.
Meet us at the church parking lot at 9:00 a.m. Bring a lunch and water.
