Around twenty of us from Emmanuel School of Religion, Milligan College, and the Hopwood Christian Church are growing a community garden this year.  A local resident graciously allowed us to use her garden site and we're busy planting, weeding, and enjoying the work.  We have grown many of our plants from seed, and are using many heirloom varieties.  Stop by and check it out.  If there is anyone in our area who would like to participate, be sure to let us know.  Here are some pictures from our garden site.

This is a great project.  The group seems to know what you are doing as your garden looks so well-tended and well-kept.

The garden looks great! Nice start! Thanks for sharing it. You don't happen to have any rhubarb growing there, do you? ( I seriously need to learn what to do with it in these clay-rich soils.)
