Just some notes on the design scheme I uploaded today.
1) The header design is taken from the brochure that was shown around during Feb.'s general meeting. Folks have expressed that they like the simplicity, blue/green color scheme, and evoked hills/mtns.
2) I personally like the added rough texture (it is sandstone texture) to the header and the modules (this is what Ning calls the social networking elements on the main page, like blog posts, photos, rss feed), so I have kept it. What do you all think?
3) The {Green interfaith network, inc + leaf} is a placeholder for the real logo once the Board decides on one. Do you prefer just having "Green Interfaith" as opposed to the organization's full name?
4) On the main page you will see that I kept the layout of the 3 columns from the test site we were commenting on during the conference call last night because there weren't any negative comments.
5) The ning template that I chose and heavily modified is "Nerdcore" (....well, the name wasn't why I chose it...).The light green checkered background is the main vestige left over from the original template.
6) I haven't altered any other text or modules in any other way, just changed colors and design.
If you would like, please feel free to reply to this posting regarding any elements (background, colors, text, images, modules) you would change, or elements you would keep.
thanks!
peace,
Emily

I agree with Jerry about the box containing invite, add content, etc. Otherwise looks great.
Hey, Emily. Nice work -- thanks for taking us to another scheme and look. Really like header, especially use of color. I'd like to see some of the words a bit darker green, just for easy reading. We'll talk more on Comm Team about a logo -- everybody knows how important this is, but we can't rush it.
