The Road Home: a Musical Celebration of Johnson City's 150th Anniversary. will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 211 Mayflower Rd. Various classical and folk musicians from the community will present an evening of sacred music that celebrates a common thread we all share: our beautiful mountain home of Johnson City. Come join together as we celebrate Johnson City's 150th birthday through a variety of musical settings, from gospel bluegrass to classical. The theme revolves around the concept that though we are all different (our backgrounds, our interests, our livelihoods, our family compositions), we are all the same in that we share the same HOME. Attendance is free.
