August is Care for Creation month at Munsey, and at the next event, on Aug. 17, Dick Nelson offers "Exploring Solar Panels". On Aug. 24, Dr. Jean Stead presents "What do United Methodists Believe about Caring for God’s Creation?"
The culminating event, on Aug. 28, is the annual Care for Creation Sunday, with three different services followed by a wonderful lunch catered by The Farm and Food Training Program at Rural Resources, a non-profit organization that produces locally grown meats, vegetables and fruit. Please make your RESERVATIONS for lunch by calling the church office at 461-8070. Reservation Deadline is Sunday, August 21.
