My fellow church member, Susan Jackson, has been inspired by GINI's showing of "Before the Flood" and has organized a local showing to be held at First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville (110 N Main St) on Sunday, Aug 27 at 3 pm.
The Green Interfaith Network will be present for the showing and discussion on energy conservation.
People from various churches can begin to work together to learn about steps that might be taken to save energy. From preliminary conversations, different churches are implementing different measures but it would be great to even be able to network among ourselves to share strategies. GINI can offer an energy audit for church facilities and can see that as the way to really get folks started and enthused.
