Event Description
Our September program will be held on Sunday September 16th at the Johnson City Library 3:30pm - 5:30pm (earlier time to accommodate library hours).
We will be joined by author Jay Leutze. His acclaimed account (published June 2012), "Stand up that Mountain: The battle to save one small community in the wilderness along the Appalachian Trail," chronicles a riveting story full of colorful characters from the foot of Roan Mountain Jay will share his experiences in community activism in the Southern Appalachians and the group discussion will be motivating.
