The purpose of the United Religions Initiative is to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings

Clergy and religious leaders from diverse religious traditions will offer prayers, liturgy or brief readings invoking global and personal peace and gratitude for our many blessings, as we share our faith traditions with one another in the spirit of love and peace.

Donations of canned goods will be accepted at the door by URI’s Northeast Cooperation Circle to support Good Samaritan's ongoing programs of feeding the hungry.
