Event Description

     For our spring quarterly meeting, we invite everyone in our region to come together in a unified effort to advance practical responses to the ecological, economic, political, social, and health-related challenges that climate change presents, both now and for future generations.

     This free event is open to all who are interested in learning more about resiliency and our region's awareness and efforts so far. (See schedule below.)

     Anthony Flaccavento, regional sustainability expert and author of "Building a Healthy Economy from the Bottom Up: Harnessing Real-World Experience for Transformative Change" (2016), will offer a keynote address at 2:30 p.m. to close out the event.

     Other sessions will range from 45 minutes to a half-hour. Members of organizations with themes of resilience and sustainability will be on hand, as well.

     Lunch will be available at the Willow Tree, but participants may also choose to explore other lunch spots in the downtown area.

     The schedule is as follows:
